Purpose
This CDS view enables you to retrieve information about your product such as the creation date, created by user, last change date, last change by user, and more. To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. Prerequisites
Authorizations Users who want to use this CDS view must have a role with the following restriction types set to read access: The following business catalogs need to be assigned to a user to be able to use this CDS view: SAP_CMD_BC_PRODUCT_DSP_PC (Master Data - Product Display) SAP_CMD_BC_PR_MAINT_PC (Master Data - Product Master) These restriction types are edited in the Maintain Business Roles app. Users who want to use this CDS view must have the following authorization objects assigned: M_MATE_MAN (Material Master: Data at Client Level) M_MATE_MAT (Material Master: Materials) M_MATE_MAR (Material Master: Material Types) M_MATE_WGR (Material Master: Material Groups) M_MATE_WRK (Material Master: Plants) M_MATE_LGN (Material Master: Warehouse Numbers) M_MATE_VKO (Material Master: Sales Organization/Distribution Channel) M_MATE_STA (Material Master: Maintenance Statuses)
